Here are some main specifications for your reference, which can give remind for the people who are newly come into contact with cranes.  

Self weight of cranes

It is obvious that self weight means the whole weight of the crane under the standard configuration, and the unit is ton or kg.

Lifting capacity

This is one of the most important specifications about crane. Means the quality of lifting material and some separable sling or other spear parts, can divided into rated load lifting capacity, the maximum lifting capacity, the total lifting capacity, valid lifting capacity, etc. Each crane should be produced according to the lifting capacity, and when operating the cranes, the load must be lower than the maximum lifting capacity.

Hoisting height

Lifting height refers to the vertical dimension from the roof of crane travelling track to the load handing device, the unit is meter. In general, if the crane equipped with hook, it is to the center of the hook clasp, but it is to the bottom if crane equipped with grab or other containers.

Span

Usually, span is used in the bridge crane specially, refers to the horizontal distance between the center line of the crane orbit, the unit is meter, different kinds of cranes have different span.

Hoisting speed

Hoisting speed means the vertical displacement speed of rated load under the stable operation of cranes, the unit is m/min.
